What are the Improvements of the new 2024 Hyundai KONA Electric?
Alongside its refreshed interior and exterior, the new generation KONA offers more space, new technologies and convenience features that provide a safe, connected and improved driving experience.
Compared to the old generation Hyundai KONA, the latest version has a 2.3-inch longer wheelbase and an overall length increase of 5.7 inches, providing more cabin and cargo space for an increase in comfort and functionality.
Unique New Design
The new KONA inherits design elements from the first-generation KONA, such as the garnishes to the wheel arches, but the colour choices differ depending on the powertrain. The KONA Electric’s ‘armour’ is the same colour as its body, helping to showcase its sleek design.
The Hyundai KONA’s interior comes with a panoramic display integrating a 12.3-inch dual cluster and navigation, offering high-tech convenience.
Best-In-Class Technology and Safety Features
Elevating convenience, the all-new KONA enables secure locking, unlocking, and engine starting via the Digital Key 2 Touch, which offers a high-security solution using near-field communication (NFC) on Apple and Android smartphones or smartwatches.
The 2024 KONA comes equipped with Hyundai’s comprehensive SmartSense safety and driver assistance package, incorporating pioneering features like Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with two-wheeler detection — a first in its class.
Even More Space
The next generation KONA benefits from an even larger wheelbase, it is now 175 mm longer than the first-generation Kona Electric. Providing an all-round larger vehicle, with more storage capacity to suit the lifestyles of more people.
Hyundai has also refreshed the interior of the new KONA, with the user being at the centre of the design. The introduction of slim front seats provides rear seat passengers with additional legroom, giving the new KONA more space than it has ever had.
Parametric Pixels
The new-look KONA takes on the beloved design elements from the IONIQ lineup, with its iconic Parametric Pixels as key features across the car, including several bespoke details beyond Parametric Pixels, such as 19” alloy wheels, black side mirrors and a black roof.
The front of the KONA has a continuous horizon lamp that sweeps across the bonnet, creating a noticeable and appealing road appearance.
